LA30W cabled to PC setup:
-Download the driver files
-Open the "Add Printer" dialog
-Click "Local Printer"
-Unclick the "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer" box
-Click "Next"
-Click "LPT1" if it isn't already in the "Use the following port:" box
-Click "Next"
-Click "Have Disk"
-Click "Browse"  to the location where you have stored the driver files
-Click "Open"
-Click "Compaq Matrix Printer LA36W"
-Click "Ok"
-At some point you will get a message about the driver not being Microsoft Certified or "Digital Signature Not Found", Click "Continue Anyway" or "Yes" depending on OS.
-Click "Yes" on "Do you want ... to use this printer as the default printer?"
-Click "Next"
-Click "Do not share this printer"
-Click "Next"
-Click "No" at "Do you want to print a test page?"
-Click "Next"
-Click "Finish"
-Click on the "Compaq LA36W" printer icon to highlight it
-Click "File" and then "Server Properties"
-Check the "New Form" box
-Click into the "Form Description" box and enter "onotice"
-Click into the "Paper Size: Width" box and enter "8.00in"
-Click into the "Paper Size: Height" box and enter "5.50in"
-Click "OK"
-Right-Click on the "Compaq LA36W" printer icon
-Click "Properties"
-Click "Printing Preferences"
-Click "Advanced"
-Click on the drop-down box at "Paper Size:", find and click on "onotice"
-Click "OK"
-Click "OK"
-Click the "Advanced" Tab
-Click "Printing Defaults"
-Click "Advanced"
-Click on the drop-down box at "Paper Size:", find and click on "onotice"
-Click "OK"
-Click "OK"
-Click on the "Device Settings" Tab
-Click on the drop-down box at "Tractor feed:", find and click on "onotice"
-Click "OK"
-You are now ready to configure Horizon to use the printer
